This project relates to the development of a new single span pedestrian and cycle bridge across the River Liffey. It is to be located at the War Memorial park adjacent to the Phoenix Park.
The works include the installation of a 65m single span bridge structure together with piled solution and related river bank works. In addition, ancillary civil infrastructure works will be required including new pedestrian walkways, cycle ways and signalised road crossings. Outside of the immediate curtilage of the bridge the scheme also makes provision for connectivity into the Phoenix Park. This approach complies with an overall masterplan strategy for the Park.
