Carron + Walsh provided Contract Administration and Quantity Surveying services with respect to this commission involving the demolition of existing general purpose hall and ancillary redundant buildings, the provision of a new three storey school extension and two storey infill extension, extensive alterations and refurbishment of the existing two storey school, restoration of the protected structure and upgrade of associated site works.
Carron + Walsh provided a full Quantity Surveying service from project inception to handover and completion of all final accounts including attending Client / Design team meetings, detailed cost estimates including comparing alternative methods of construction for various elements of the building for life cycle costs analysis, preparing and issuing tender documents, assessing and reporting on the returned tenders, compiling contract documents, and the day to day running of the job including evaluating variations, assessing monthly valuations, preparing monthly financial reviews and agreeing and reporting on the Final Account.
